This is one of my favorite Persian restaurants. I almost always get the ground beef kabobs. The feta and bread are a great snack to start the meal. Reminds me of my roommate from Iran during college. We often ate feta and radishes for a snack. The restaurant is clean and the service is very friendly. My only complaint is that after I was served know one every offered me any more tea or water.

My absolute favorite restaurant in Houston. I could write love songs about Bijan. And after recently trying another Persian Houston restaurant with a near identical menu but slightly higher prices that left me with regrets, I figured a Yelp review praising Bijan was long overdue. I've lost track of how many times I've eaten here in the past year. And I will be eternally grateful to my boyfriend for introducing me to this place. The staff is great and starts you with a complimentary plate of freshly made flat bread and mint, butter, feta cheese cubes, and radish. My preference is to melt some butter on the warm bread and sprinkle on a healthy amount of paprika and then wrap it around a cube of feta. In terms of recommendations, you can't go wrong with the warm eggplant dip as an appetizer. This is probably my favorite dish on the menu, and I think it's done better here than other Persian restaurants. The name is Kashk-E-Bademjan and it's a warm eggplant with a drizzle of yogurt topped with roasted garlic, caramelized onions, and a sprig of mint. If the staff hasn't already offered a second flat bread with your eggplant, just ask. The size is big enough to share but I can easily polish off one of these by myself and prefer it that way. For the main course, I strongly suggest the Bijan special. It is a massive plate of chicken and filet mignon beef skewer, saffron rice topped with cherries, cranberries, almonds, and pistachios, and lastly roasted vegetables. Note that some of their dishes do not come with the cranberry/almond topping on the rice. Fortunately the menu includes pictures of pretty much every single dish. If you like some sweetness with your savory food, the rice is much better with the addition. Honestly, nothing compares to a fresh plate of Bijan, and the food is generally very consistent in flavor. There was a singular visit when I thought the Kafta kebob had too much parsley. On my last visit, it was phenomenal. The meat is always tender and juicy. If I had to choose a final meal, it would be Bijan. Thank you guys for the wonderful meals!

This Persian grill has quickly become one of our favorite dining destinations. The prices are reasonable, the service is attentive, and the quality of the food is outstanding. Their kebabs are simply phenomenal--juicy, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. The appetizers are equally impressive, with dishes like creamy hummus, fresh tabbouleh, and savory dolmas setting the stage for a memorable meal. Highly recommended for anyone seeking an exceptional dining experience.

We enjoyed every bit of this restaurant. We had great and fast service. We ordered the hummus as an appetizer, I have to say is the best I ever had. For entrees, we ordered the lamb shank and rice. The lamb was amazing it came of the bone very easy and it melted in your mouth. The seasoning was just perfect not overpowering.

My mom brought me back leftovers and it was great! Rice was a tad dry, but the chicken was moist, veggies grilled perfectly, and everything was flavored well. Most of my go to Persian spots are down Westheimer so it was nice to try a new one. The portions were big!

My friends and I went for a quick meal on the way to a concert at Arena Theatre. We were served herbs and feta cheese along with freshly-baked bread. Our waitress was nice and though she was reluctant at first, she agreed to give each of us four separate checks. I only ordered hummus. It's quite good and garlicky. If you don't like garlic this dip is not for you. The serving is generous. Our waitress gave me a small container to go and an extra slice of pita bread. The rest of the party seemed to enjoy their meal.

I often picked up food for our UberEats customers. I wanted to eat. I got chicken Kabab. I ordered online. When I arrived here, the food was ready. The Kabab was super good. I loved it. Bijan gave me a big piece of lavash bread. It was so good. The rice was so tasty. I am from Japan. But the Iranian long-grain rice was extremely great. Overall, 5 stars, if you want to enjoy Persian food, please visit here.
